Some of George's interests are astronomy, microwave ham radio, antenna design, propagation study, The Technical Net, physics puzzles.
As a kid I seem to remember reading in an early 1970's QST that K2RIW was the feller that built a dish antenna and was able to "SWL" the communications from the spacecraft during one of the moon shots. WB9MII
