1917 - 2008

Kab VU2BK was an officer in the Indian Army Corps of Signals. He had a very interesting career and was very active on the ham bands.

Major General Rustom Zal Kabraji AVSM (Retd)


VU2BK before he retired June of 1970 as the General looking after Southern Army.


This present tower and beam was replaced in 1958 a Telrex Tribander on a 60 foot steel tower. The installation withstands the Indian storms.

This is the Indian War Memorial Corps of Signals.


Here is VU2BK at the desk giving a DX'er a new one! Kab was known as "The Indian Beacon" On the air since 1946.


This is the DXpedition in 1962 to Bhutan who our subject General R.Z. Kabraji VU2BK was a member.
