Tribute to Clara Reger W8KYR, W2RUF
March 28, 1898 - February 1980

Clara was first licensed in 1933. She managed disaster communications after WWII and was appointed official Red Cross station of Buffalo, NY. She was very proficient at CW and traffic managing. She issued the famed "RUF and Ready Award Certificate". She received the "Outstanding Ham in NYS" in 1961. She also received the Edison Award. See her unique "Brother and Sister" QSL card below.
