Bill was a teacher of social studies in Mount Airy, MD. He was a Marine pilot in the Vietnam war and flew Medivac helicoptors. Bill also flew a chopper for the Army National Guard in the Persian Gulf. On September 11, 2001, Bill was working at the Pentigon and became a SK when American Airlines flight 77 was taken over by terriorists and deliberately flown into the west side of the Pentigon.
