Ray Riniker was an avid, dedicated, and long time Ham Radio Operator. His call letters were W3SWC and he received many, many QSL cards from local as well as foreign ham operators. He had a well equipped "radio room" with many certificates and plaques displayed on the walls, including his 50th Anniversary Award Certificate given to its distinguished members from the Quarter Century Wireless Association, Inc. for commemorating fifty years of service as a licensed radio amateur.

Ray made many friends over the years and was always "standing by" to help in any emergency. His radios are quiet now, the keys silent, but his ham friends as well as his family will always miss, remember, and love W3SWC.

If you met him once, you would become friends. He was a kind, gentle and loving man, and where ever he went, he brightened up a room with his smile and infectious laughter.
