Ralph made the Interstate Associated Press 28 April 1939 - Folkman known as Mr. Lucky! Folkman a 38 year old Cleveland Police control operator has added another prize to his long series of contest winnings. He has entered 61 contests in the past 6 years and has won more than $2,000 dollars in prizes. It all began with a typewriter 6 years ago - "Now everything I type on it wins a prize. Maybe I'm silly but I wont sell that machine for anything."
Folkman has 3 sons, one of which
was also a ham operator
