Ross Radio 1946 Youngstown, Ohio

Here is W8MTC Mikes' invoice number 13, dated 1946 from Ross Radio, Federal Street in Youngstown, Ohio. Number 13 is over 60 years old. Looks like Mike was building a transmitter with those coils. He no longer resides at his old QTH but in a rest home in Newton Falls, OH. Ross Radio was the best place for electronic parts. Across the street was Armies (1960's), the only local place for used ham equipment, crystals, and ham accessories. Armies has been long gone. However, Ross Radio is still listed in the phone book.
