Does anyone have an aproximate date of this photo?

Thank you so much for publishing the subject photo. It was a brain tickler for me, and really took me back. The sole individual in the photo known to me is Art Castler, W2KFR, shown kneeling in the front row. He used to say K - king, F - Frank, R - Robert. Something I heard over and over when I was a young boy in Washington, N.J. (Warren County), where he had his home and station. I was a friend of his daughter, Joan, and often played with her in the rooms behind the room at the front of his home where Mr. Castler had his radio equipment and station. Mr. Castler's image in the photo is of a somewhat younger man than I remember, so the date on the photo could be close to 1950, or even the latter portion of the 1940's. However, I was a little boy and my memory on this could easily be faulty. It is Mr. Castler's station ID, W2KFR, that is burned into my memory. And seeing your photo of a person upon whose image I have not gazed for more than fifty years was a strange sensation, I assure you. At first I did not recognize him. But then, slowly, my mind began to realize it really is Art Castler in that photo. Amazing.
Thanks again!

K2EMJ in that photo is LeRoy (Roy) Peters. At that time he would've said "King Two Easy Mike John." He was my father and went SK in 1978. I took his call when vanity system came about. Photo must be from 1950's because my Dad did not get his ticket until then. Photo is from before I was born. My Dad is a young man in photo. I realized that in the 50's my dad did fox hunting so it is possible that this photo were guys doing a fox hunt, especially with that loop antenna behind them all. Also likely was the photo was taken in Warren or Sussex County, NJ because my dad lived in Sussex county at that time. Thanks for sharing with me.
