Here is a gent I saw a copy of as a boy on the news stands. I've seen the article since and have often wondered what became of S/SGT Robert Buyea W4MGV. His teacher Sam Lee W6COI - taken at Pratt General Hospital, Coral Gables, FL. Robert was from the Syracuse area in the U.S. Army Air Corps., recovering from a serious leg wound that wouldn't heal. This was a series of articles by a Handi-Ham Herb Brier W9EGQ.

Buyea got back on his feet and served as an engineer in Miami Fla., he expired age 53 Dade County, FL in 1969.
