This is a photo of VK4TL portable W6 in Ukiah, California.
This is where my sister lives. On a visit there in June 2006 I bought a couple of FT847s on ebay before leaving Australia to be delivered in Ukiah. I put up a 20 metre dipole in the pines and got on the air. Also worked locals on 2 metres with my Alinco HH and IRLP back to VK. See the 12V auto battery for power, hi! The official call was W6/VK4TL.
