There were 100 units made for each operation.

Here are the medals that were pre-ordered in Lviv, Ukraine to be delivered to the sponsors of the following DXpeditions:

1990: 1S0XV Spratly Is. (not survived)
This was the so-called "Names" Medal. On the reverse side was the number and callsign of its owner.

1991: XY0RR Burma

1992: P5RS7 North Korea
(2 sided medal)

1993: 5A0RR Libya
