K3WWF/MM 1974

Bill Balabanow is now N3CC in Lancaster Pa. The S.S. Montpelier Victory, a 736 foot oil tanker built in 1962 served until burned in 1981 then scrapped in 1984. I would worry for the fact this vessel hauled gasoline too.  Paul Wolf W6RLP was also another radioman in the 1970s who sailed with the same vessel.
