smallest powered craft to make the voyage!

radio operator aboard British life-boat Aries on its
transatlantic test cruise.
G3JOQ writes: "On behalf of the captain and crew of Aries I
wish to thank hams for their kind and able assistance.
The QSL's which they will receive will be 'collector pieces' for
there will be only nine at the most for U. S. A. out of a total
of 140."
