A Gus Browning W4BPD DXpedition

This card is confirmation for a QSO with DL6ZZ.
When I first got on the air in 1983, 80 meters c.w. was always busy, and these two DL's (DL6ZZ, DL1PM) regularly called me for a QSO and up-speeded me to get me into HSC. I have their QSL's in the box; they were superb ops and part of a small group of Eu's who watched out for newcomers that they thought would make good c.w. ops.
I passed my code exam at first shot; 100 percent on copying, but I couldn't send on a straight key to save my life. The examiner thought it was just nerves, and let me through. Never looked back.
