Col. Roy Thomas Bucy, U.S. Army, W7VM, ex-W7COI, W7BKU, K7TLC, K7COI, W7COI, W3VM, KH6AF, K4DG, A3VM (Army MARS), 7AEB, 7VM (aboard a Fishing boat in Alaskan waters, boat call sign WPQ), 7VM and possibly some foreign call signs.

He was first listed with the call sign 7VM (Seattle, Washington) in the 1922 callbook. "7VM" became his favorite suffix ... he used the call W7VM off and on during his life.
During 1924 and 1925 while he was aboard the Alaskan fishing boat he submitted several large lists of call signs to QST's Calls Heard And Worked column.
In the 1930 U.S. Census his occupation was listed as"Radio operator at radio station."
What he did in the Army is not clear. He was assigned to the Signal Corps.
He was born October 27, 1905 in Crookston, MN and became a Silent Key September 23, 1999 in Seattle, WA.
