SP9PT/KL7 1974 Alaska
This QSL was
sent to me (KH6IDF) sometime in 1974 from SP9PT who was a member
of the first Polish climbing expedition to Alaska and the Yukon.
I worked SP9PT from Hawaii when they were climbing Mt. McKinley
in Alaska. He didn’t put any QSO details on the card, and I
haven’t saved my log from back then.
Small crosses above two of the team members I believe indicate
climbers who died during the expedition.
SP9PT is in the lower right corner, front row. He has drawn an
arrow with his callsign but it is hard to make out in the photo.
