FB8ZZ 1950 Amsterdam Island
Operator: Henri Félard
Unique handmade QSL card drawn
on a US reply postcard, probably by W3BES, Gerry
"Jerry" Mathis, President of the Frankford Radio Club,
himself and later signed by Henri Félard on Nov. 25, 1951.
As the early printed QSL card for FB8ZZ shows the name
"Louis Felard" on the reverse side, his full name might
have been Henri Louis Félard.
The radio operators on the first mission to Amsterdam Island (31.12.1949 - 06.02.1951) were Henri Delsalle, Henri Félard, and André Parent.
