2GM 1925 Australia
For many years after high power broadcasting was established in Australia in late 1923, the listening public were quick to complain about interference from their local amateur radio operators. Majority of receivers were crystal sets which were not at all selective. The amateur community response was to voluntarily not transmit while the local broadcasters were transmitting (fortunately broadcast hours were quite limited in the early years). The note on the back of 2GM's card apologises for going QRT as he had slipped into broadcasting hours. Can readily imagine any operator becoming so absorbed in pulling in the good DX that he forgets the time.
