2CL was a famous early Australian callsign, being held by Guido Caletti from 1922 and a prominent amateur broadcaster in the mid 1920's.
Unfortunately Guido lost interest in radio circa 1930 and let his licence slip. When the bug bit again in the late 1930's, Leslie had taken his callsign, so Guido was licensed again as VK2AHV.
