Neil M. Templeton, VE3HG, Silent Key (1965).

The May 1965 issue of Amateur Radio (Australia) reported the passing of Neil Templeton, VE3HG.
He was first licensed in 1930. Neil's interest never waned and he was active on various bands until shortly before his passing.
Although he was a keen Dxer he frequently rag-chewed with locals.
During World War II he served with the Royal Australian Air Force.
For many years he operated a base station for the bush fire net in his area.
