Madeline MacKenzie VK4YL was amateur radio's child prodigy. She passed for her full licence at first attempt in 1935 at twelve years of age, becoming the youngest radio operator in the British Empire, and was a superb c.w. operator and contester. She shared the station of her father VK4GK, who was the operator shown on this card. She was not active post-war.
