VP1AA 1948 British Honduras (Belize)

Ira Dwight Hunter, Jr., WA4TWJ, ex-VP4AA and VP1AA, was born September 30, 1907 in Utila, Ilas de la Bahia, Honduras.
He was also known by several other names: Ira D. Hunter, Dwight I. Hunter and Dwight Hunter.
He made several visits to the U.S., the last one being September 21, 1960. He and his XYL settled in Florida.
He became a U.S. citizen in 1964. He became a Silent Key January 21, 1993 in Tampa, Florida.
