NB BE-3 1927 Bermuda Island

NB BE3 Contact 7 June 1927 card mailed 23 June. The NB I think means North America Bermuda.
The operator is A.E. Redman who became VP9R
This is the most interesting card because - Redman's QTH was Devonshire, Bermuda. The card was mailed on s.s. Fort St George (NY-Bermuda route)
Posted on the High Seas, with a Paquebot postmark on a Bermuda stamp.
It is addressed to Ian Morgan, Radio BEM in Canada. Strangely, it has a BEM registration rubber-stamp in the top left hand corner. (BEM Warwick Bermuda).
Now BEM (card wanted) was in Canada, reason not known. Some years back there was an envelope listed on eBay in the stamps section, similarly addressed ( nothing else) - no great interest, except that it had survived.
Now these are obviously made-up calls. I can find nothing on google about early Bermuda radio history or calls.
The B prefix was allocated to Great Britain in the 1920's, and there was a Land Station at Bermuda Dockyard with the call letters BZB.
