3LW 1924 Canada

Ronald H. Gurd - 3LW - (1902-1973) operated Gurd's Radio Store on Dundas Street in London, Ontario during the 1920's.
He was later joined by his brother George W. Gurd.
The store sold radio parts and the earliest reference I can find is 1920.
The London (Ontario) Amateur Radio Club was founded in 1920 and the inaugural meetings were held in the rear of Gurd's Radio Store. The club is still active today.
The brothers are buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London, Ontario.
