John Malcolm "Jack" Closson,
K6AVK, W2WMV and W8WMV (1941), enlisted in the U.S. Army on February 23, 1942 at Albany, New York.
He served in Asia with the 350th Fighter Squadron, Army Air Force.
Before entering military service he was employed as a machine tender in a box factory.
He was the son of Orley W. and Ethel Closson.
He was born July 28, 1919 in New York and became a Silent Key May 19, 1958 in Sacramento County, California (aged 38 years old).
