VK9XW 1979 Christmas Island

Resident Operator Craig Woodford 1979/1984

After our operation from Cocos-Keeling in 1987 Jim Smith, VK9NS/VK9XS, and I, flew to Christmas Island.
Jim remained on Christmas Island and I continued on the flight to Perth, Australia.
Jim told me later that Craig Woodford, VK9XW (he was also an op at VK9XI) was on my flight to Perth....W5KNE/VK9YW.
