ZC2PJ 1955 Cocos Keeling Islands

The operator was P. Jim Reeves, who was operating from Direction Island where the government radio station was located.
An item in Amateur Radio (Australia, August 1955) mentioned that ZC2PJ would be returning to Ceylon, and hoped another operator from Ceylon.
I have actually been on Direction Island, when I was operating VK9YW. It is not a very large island. It is now the yacht anchorage.
