Paul Hiernaux worked in the Belgian Congo on the development of Radar.
He was there from the late 40's until 1959. After returning to Belgium, Paul worked doing TV and Radio repairs. Silent key in 1971.

June 1960: Belgian Congo becomes independant as Democratic Republic of Congo.
Oct.1971: Democratic Republic of Congo changes into Republic of Zaire.
May 1997: The name was changed back from Zaire to Democratic Republic of Congo.
