G2DC 1961 England
Jack Metheun Leslie
Drudge-Coates was born in 1902 (Isle of Wight, England). He died
in 1973 (England). In 1969 he was a member of the Board of
Directors of the Yasme Foundation. His operations as y-DCR and
ai-2KX were both in India.
Also, The "Brindiv Signals" on his other cards is the
abbreviation of "British Indian Division Signals."
And a side note that has nothing to do with Ham Radio. His
15-month-old daughter died 11 Feb. 1943 and is buried in Mhow,
Bengal, India. I found a photo of her headstone on the internet.
This does not match with the dates of his Indian operations, but
the father's name was J. Drudge-Coates of the Royal Signals.
