G2SZ 1924 England
Cecil Goyder, an 18 year old student at Mill Hill School in London, using the callsign g2SZ, and Frank Bell, z4AA, a sheep farmer in Shag Hill New Zealand, made the first trans-world contact between England and New Zealand on October 18, 1924. ZM90DX and GB2NZ will be celebrating the 90th anniversary in 2013 and 2014. Goyner became a Silent Key on February 6, 1980 in Princeton, New Jersey.
