G5DAD/A 1980 England

At that time period, visiting hams were assigned calls in the G5 block.

Don Murray G5DAD, ex: K4FMA, ET3FMA, now W4WJ operating at G3FXB!

With the help of Ron Lindsay, G3KTZ, (sk), I was able to have some fun during my trip to the U.K. for the annual FOC Dinners at Lords in 1980.
Ron was kind enough to do all the leg work and all I had to do was pony up 6 pounds 40, about $15.40, to receive my G5DAD license. 
I operated from many stations before and after the dinner, having some good chats with many of the U.K. FOC crew.
