6 Meter G "firsts" worked by me, ZD9, ZL, KL7, T88 .
I made the first ever British Isles 6M G to ZL (New Zealand) QSO on 24th January 2005 with Rod ZL3NW. And first ever British Isles to KL7 6M QSO on 27th January 2005 with Kevin NL7Z in Alaska.
I am not a relative of the origional Reg Witty G5WQ but a long time family friend. Regs son Peter asked if I would reactivate his fathers callsign. His father wanted him to take it on when he died but Peter didn't do so. A few years ago, Peter asked if I would like to take the callsign on. It took almost 3 years until the authorities finally released and reissued the callsign to me. My call was M0BCG.
