F7AY 1952 France

F7 callsigns were issued to ham operators belonging to NATO forces that operated in France between the end of WWII and middle 1964.

I found my old call F7AY in your QSL Gallery! I received the call in late 1951 and used it until I left in December 1952. I know the call was reissued when I left France but don't know who got it. F7AP and myself kept the rig going quite a bit during this period. W7LBN
