F8GO 1925 France

F8GO - Jean Mezger, famous French operator, elected as councillor at large for the IARU when it was formed in 1925.

A picture of the board  (REF) in 1925 with Jean Mezger. Jean G. Mezger was authorized September 29, 1924 with the callsign "8EM" (no nationality prefixe).
He use 8EM during 3 year's and receive "8GO" for 1927 to 1928.
In 1929 he lost this call, and never came back to amateur radio.
He was one of the REF founders and member number 2 of the REF! His QTH was: 5, bd de la Saussaye - Neuilly/Seine.
