F8MM 1953 France

Operator: Roland Cornuel in 1953.

The first use of "eF8MM" was in 1925 by M. GORDON MALLET ( and his wife) with the unlicenced call "eF8MM".

Morel Marcel received the 1st official license after WWII in 1948 as FF8AA in AOF (Afrique Occidentale Française).
After a few month back in France, then a return to Dakar, Marcel used
FF8MM (unlicensed?)

F8MM René CHAILLOUX was born the July 19, 1904, living in Paris and licenced as F8MM between 1936 and 1948.

The call was reissued to Roland CORNUEL (the above QSL) between 1951 and 2014, born  Nov. 10, 1927, now SK!
