W2KQT/KB6 1946 Guam

The operator was John Vincent Serafin, W2KQT, later W2QD, Silent Key (1920-1999).
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. For a number of years he was employed by Radio Corporation of America (RCA). In 1973 he was manager of quality control for RCA.
