QSL from Naval Experimental Station huC3N which was operated by Elmer Louis Lamplugh. He also used C3N. QSL was sent from Submarine Base, Pearl Harbor, Territory of Hawaii. Elmer Louis Lamplugh was first licensed as 6AHH in Hawaii in 1924. He also held the call signs 6BCD & 6DWZ in Hawaii in 1928. In the early 1930's he held the call W6CTV & W6FBR (portable). In the early 1940's he held the call sign W1LWD. He also operated from the Canal Zone as NY2AC and the Antarctic as KC4USB. He retired from the United States Navy on 2/12/1948 with the rank of Lieutenant. He was tragically killed on 9/23/1949 when he was struck by a United States Air Force truck at Gimpo Airport in Seoul, South Korea while he was working as a civilian contractor. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
