The operator was Thomas Braedon Stacey, Jr., ex-2EI and W2EI, later W1KIV, W4QL and DL4GF.
He was in the U.S. Army, probably an enlisted man, but later an officer.
He was born May 24, 1904 and died January 2, 1979;  burial in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
