KH6ABH 1957 Hawaii

KH6ABH operated from the USCG Loran Transmitter Station on Tern Island in the French Frigate Shoals of the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.
It was located at 23.870 deg N LAT and -166.284 deg W LON grid square AL63uu  & IOTA OC-055.
Even though FFS is 550 miles NW of Honolulu, it is still in Honolulu County! Check it out with an IOTA search of OC-055!
Loran transmitters were installed on both Tern Island and East Island at different times.
East Island, also in FFS at 23.787 deg N LAT and -166.211 deg W LON grid square AL63vs, IOTA OC-055.
