VK0HM 1971 Heard Island

Disallowed for DXCC

ARRL said the January - March 1971 operation by F2JD will not count for DXCC. Gerard was the radio op on the French working party there, and assumed that VK0HM was the callsign allocated to Heard Island, but it is the personal callsign issued to USA op Hugh Milburn WA6EAM. There is no amateur radio reciprocal licensing agreement between Australia & France.
