Don was supposedly in British Columbia, Canada giving a talk to a local radio club 2 days before this operation took place. Several people in the USA said the beam heading for this operation was north. Did Don find a very fast way to get on Heard Island? Did the hams in the USA work Don long path? Was Don really operating from somewhere in Canada? No one may ever know the answer to these questions...
