The Agua Fria mine was put into operation between 1935 and 1943 by Earl P. Halliburton of Los Angeles.
Felix Shay, Jr. was probably the person who traveled several times by ship from Honduras to the United States between 1932 and 1940.
According to ship's records, he was born of American parents July 16, 1910 in Andover, N. B., Canada. His parents were Felix, Sr. and Florence Shay.
