Hansruedi Lehner, born 3 March, 1948 (USKA-files: 1945). Self-given SWL Call HE9GAY (QSLs via ISWL). Was never issued either an official SWL Call or a license. According to his father probably as backpack-traveller in Asia. Four Swiss firms were active in Bali and Borneo, at that time: Ems-Chemie AG, Brown Boweri (ABB), Ascom (Bern) Zellweger, and Oerlikon Bührle. Most unlikely he worked for one of them - he was only 17 (or 19). 19 less likely - as he would have had to join the army, at that age. Joined USKA 04 May, 1965 - after his trip (USKA-files: 04 May, 1961 - before his trip). Never held a call sign, no QSL (we maintain the USKA data bank), left USKA on 28.January, 1993 (USKA-files: 26, November 1998) due to loss of interest. Thus, data given by his father, Gerold Bolli, do not coincide with the official USKA files. All in all, one might assume that it was an unauthorized operation with a phantasy call.
