YB0AAG 1969 Indonesia

Horst Geerken YB0AAG / DJ2JB was the ham to receive and handle the distress call of the King of Sikkim 9 April 1975. Horst, a German Engineer for Telecommunications for many years resident in Jakarta, Indonesia, worked as a Director for the German firm "Telefunken" in Jakarta headquarters. Since some years Horst has returned to Germany owning the new call DJ4SM lives in Bonn, in Rhineland, Germany.

YB0AAG & SM6AFH received the distress call from AC3PT in Sikkim when the Indian troups attacked his palace. See story and photos!
