IC1IN 1960 Italy

In 1960 Gus Browning made a dxpedition to CAMPIONE D'ITALIA, using the call IC1IN.

In 1989 Paul Bavassano I1RBJ recreated this dxpedition, and his QSL card is in the style of the "standard" Dxpedition of the Month " cards from the 1960's.

Campione d'Italia, on the shores of Lake Lugano, is "a little piece of Italy on the shores of Lake Lugano entirely surrounded by Swiss territory".
