XW8HJ 1974 - 1976 Laos

Anthony William Malesic, K3BHL (Silent Key, 1941-2009), ex-CP1JV, HI8XDF and XW8HJ. His wife, Suzanne, was HI8XDJ.

He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam before entering the Central Intelligence Agency, where he served as a communications officer, stateside and overseas.
He retired after more than 32 years of government service.
During those years he completed many temporary assignments at American Facilities and Embassies before permanent assignments in Indonesia, Sierra Leone, The Philippines, Bolivia, Laos, Guinea, Dominican Republic and Romania, then retiring from his last position in Washington, DC.
