I received this photo from late Jim Smith, VK9NS, together with the QSL card of VK0WH in response to my reception report on 40m CW in 1996.
His comment on the reverse side of this photo: "Warren Hull, VK0WH. Operating in the shack at the ANARE Base on Macquarie Island. Note straight key !!"
