Juan de Nova didn't become a seperate DXCC entity until June 25, 1960.

About Jean FB8BI, some years ago I received some info and photo from his brother Alain 3B8AH ex VQ8AH.
"My brother Jean (in fact Pierre Jean but usual name as Jean) born 31/10/1922 Paris and dead 3/5/1980 Liverpool (Australia) was Director for the exploitation into Juan da Nova from 1952 to 1958."

On the left the station furnished by the meteo, at the center an old station from the war, modified by Alain.
