The operator was Byrd Herman Brunemeier, KG6RT, W6FHM and ex-W5NMK.
He was employed by Far East Broadcasting Company, beginning in 1948.
He was born at sea April 23, 1927. He died by electrocution while working on the KSAI transmitter July 27, 1983 (Saipan).
