ZS8A 2014 Marion Island

Operator was YL Nadia Hansa. She was member of the 70th Overwintering Team on Marion Island in 2013/2014 and responsible for killer whale observations.

She passed her exam while on Marion and made over 500 QSO's using her boyfriend's (ZS8C) station. Carson, also a new ham, made over 10K contacts. He gave me my last 3 needed bands, 10, 12, and 15. They both ran 100 watts to a simple wire antenna. K8MFO
